EI30 fire-rated glass partitions transmit approximately 85–90% of light, close to regular glass. EI60 uses intumescent glass with an internal thermal gel layer — visually identical to standard glass but expands to block heat and flame when exposed to fire.

3How can fire doors integrate with the fire alarm system?
